John Greg Hossbach

John Greg Hossbach's work experience is as follows:

From August 2016 to present, John worked at Tail Light as a Sr. Engineer, DevOps. John Greg was responsible for the IT/Operations stack, including helpdesk, multi-data center architecture, virtualization, automation, and network/systems infrastructure. John Greg also managed multiple data center migrations to improve site reliability and improved efficiency and success of release management and deployment systems.

From May 2009 to August 2016, John worked at Match.com as a Sr. Engineer, Operations/Sr. Engineer, Systems. John Greg was responsible for all aspects of IT/operations, including virtualization and automation, while serving on the Web Operations team. John deployed a self-service portal to reduce time-to-market and eliminate manual overhead. John Greg also developed various scripts to accomplish repetitive administrative tasks, increasing throughput and establishing self-healing infrastructure and systems.

From July 2005 to April 2009, John worked at Builders FirstSource. Initially, they worked as an IS Lead, where they installed and administered various servers and systems. John Greg was also responsible for system updates, patches, and server backups. Later, they worked as a Level 2 Support Technician, handling complex user calls/requests and maintaining networking equipment. John also designed and developed the "BFS Image Creator" for customized Windows installations.
