Jay Stapleton

Jay Stapleton has a diverse work experience spanning from 1999 to the present. Jay is currently working at Tailscale as a Solutions Engineer since April 2023, and previously held the role of Customer Engineer from November 2021 to March 2023. Before that, Jay worked at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre as a Multimedia Technician from May 2017 to November 2021, and as a Network Analyst from May 2016 to May 2019. Additionally, they worked as a Home Inspector at Jay Stapleton Inspections from January 2018 to February 2020, and owned Waking Giant Coffee from February 2014 to May 2017. Jay also has experience as a Sessional Instructor at Confederation College in the Interactive Media Development program in 2016. Furthermore, they pursued their MA in Sociology as a student at Lakehead University from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, they served as a Coffee Shop Manager at Lakehead University Student Union from September 2011 to February 2013. Jay started their career as an Environmental/Program Officer at the Ontario Ministry of the Environment from March 2011 to May 2011. Jay also held the position of Head of Technical Services at Mentor Computer Consultants from 1999 to September 2010, and worked as a Senior Systems Engineer at Computershare Canada from October 2005 to August 2006.

Jay Stapleton attended Lakehead University from 2006 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree with a focus on Political Science.
