Kari Lam

Kari Lam is an accomplished technical professional with a strong background in software engineering and computational biology. Currently serving as a Member of Technical Staff at Tailscale since May 2023, Kari previously worked as a Software Engineer at Google from June 2017 to January 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Associate Intern at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where work focused on machine learning research. Kari earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computational Biology from New York University (2011-2016) and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Mathematics and Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley (2006-2011).
