KaShonna E. started their work experience in 2012 at Barnes & Noble College, where they began as a bookseller and eventually became an Assistant Manager. In this role, they managed relationships with instructors and textbook publishers, oversaw inventory, and led an opt-in ordering program for students. One of their key responsibilities was opening up new bookstores, including building out the physical space and providing tech support for five bookstores using a textbook perpetual inventory management system. KaShonna also managed an ftp service to update and maintain course information. Currently, KaShonna E. works as a Customer Engineer at Tailscale, starting in 2022.

KaShonna E. completed their education history at St. Petersburg College. From 2019 to 2020, they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) degree in Technology Development and Management with a specialization in Cybersecurity. Prior to that, they attended the same college from 2007 to 2011 and obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Graphic Design. In addition to their formal education, KaShonna E. has also obtained two certifications. In November 2021, they achieved the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). In February 2021, they obtained the CompTIA Security+ ce certification from CompTIA.
