Ramya Nagarajan

Ramya Nagarajan currently serves as the Director of Engineering at Tailscale since April 2021, having previously held roles as Engineering Manager and Member of Technical Staff within the company. Prior to this, Ramya worked at Google from October 2011 to April 2021, where roles included Tech Lead/Manager for the Chrome Browser team and Entrepreneur for the Tailor team. Ramya has also contributed as a Dot Org Ambassador and adviser to TalkingPoints, a Bay Area Impact Challenge Winner, and served on the Board of Directors for RRRComputer.org, focusing on providing computers to K-6 students. Earlier career experiences included positions at Syscom (USA) Inc., IBM, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and the Center for Excellence in Document Analysis and Recognition. Ramya holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University at Buffalo.
