Mary Keane

Mary Keane is an Independent Non-Executive Director at FBD Hotels & Resorts and a Board Member at both An Coimisiún Pleanála and Tailte Éireann. Previously, they served as Chair and Board Member at the National Gallery of Ireland from 2020 to 2024 and held various roles at the Law Society of Ireland, including Director General and Deputy Director General, from 1992 to 2021. Additionally, Mary worked as an Executive Officer at the Department of Industry and Commerce and the Companies Registration Office in the 1980s and early 1990s, and was a Tax Specialist at Craig Gardner / Price Waterhouse from 1990 to 1992. They were recognized in 2023 with an award for Outstanding Contribution to the Legal Profession from the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association. Mary is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Civil Law at University College Dublin and a Barrister-at-Law degree at The Honorable Society of King's Inns.
