Ben Murphy

Ben Murphy is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in functional safety and control systems. Currently serving as a Staff Engineer at TAIT since January 2023, Ben plays a crucial role as a technical leader, influencing global control strategies and demonstrating the organization’s engineering capabilities to senior leadership. Previously, as a Senior Controls - Functional Safety Engineer, Ben provided specialized consultancy to ensure compliance with functional safety standards. Ben has also contributed as a Committee Member at BSI since September 2020, focusing on the safeguarding of machinery and impacting relevant international standards. With a robust background as a Safety Engineering Consultant at Siemens from June 2016 to January 2023, Ben led safety-related projects and provided critical support in the machinery industry. Ben's prior experience at Wienerberger UK involved engineering design and support for manufacturing control systems across multiple sites in the UK.
