Scott Murray

Scott Murray is a Hardware Software Engineer who currently works for Taiv. Scott has previous experience working for Manitoba Hydro and DueNorth Systems. At Manitoba Hydro, they worked in the Grid Infrastructure Planning Department where they created Python tools to help automate and simplify complicated tasks. Scott was originally a 4 month, full time work term over the summer that was extended into part time work during the fall term. At DueNorth Systems, they worked on a team with senior students of the Biomedical Instrumentation Lab. Scott designed and created an Android app which creates a live spectrogram from digital audio samples collected from an external Raspberry Pi-based device. Applied digital signal processing knowledge such as digital filtering, and the fast fourier transform.

Scott Murray studied computer engineering at the University of Manitoba, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree.
