My experience, mindset, and training propelled me to found Take Passage Coaching as a way to support others in their journey back to themselves after trauma.

I’m Mary McClements, M.A. Ed/ PCC/TICC. As a certified Trauma Coach, I help you gain insights and take action steps that move you from feeling stuck in your life or career to living more fully with a deep sense of purpose and joy.

I do not have all of the answers or any, really. I just know how to ask hard questions without judgment. I know how to help people make positive change without all the ‘shoulds.’ 

I know that you have the power to make the change you want, and I can help you see that through the power of your story. Understanding your story can help you recognize that you already have what it takes to envision and live up to your potential. 

It starts with a free conversation where we’ll get to know one another. Our relationship will be a trusting one in which you feel comfortable working together towards your goal. Neuroscience backs me up on this: working collaboratively in supportive trust-based relationships activates parts of the brain associated with openness to new ideas. We move from there working with various modalities such as; diving into limiting beliefs through talk and or walking coaching, visualizations, homework, and play. Though coaching is not therapy, it demands a degree of introspection. Together we will examine your barriers to wholeness so that we can dismantle them. 

With perseverance and a little humor, we’ll do the work of reclaiming your power. Working together as a team, we activate the changes you desire even if you don’t quite know what they are. Through action steps and accountability, you’ll find your voice and the self that has been lost.
