Aaron Bourret is currently the Senior Director of Global Program Management in the GI Therapeutic Area at Takeda, a position they have held since 2022. Previously, Aaron served as Associate Director and then Director of Global Program Management at Takeda from 2016 to 2017. With a background in oncology research, Aaron worked at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research from 2004 to 2010, where they advanced through various roles including Scientist and Associate Director of Oncology Project Management. Aaron began their career as a Research Associate at CGI Pharmaceuticals from 2002 to 2004. They are also pursuing an MBA in Health Sector Management at the Questrom School of Business, Boston University, along with a Master’s and Bachelor’s in Microbiology and Molecular and Cell Biology, respectively, from the University of Connecticut.
