Thomas Jabs

Thomas Jabs is the CEO of TAKRAF Group, a position held since December 2022. Prior to this, Thomas served as the Global Head of the Minerals and Mining Systems Business at FLSmidth from April 2018 to December 2022. Thomas has extensive experience in the mining sector, having worked as Executive Vice President and Senior Vice President of Mining Systems at thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions AG between March 2014 and March 2018. Earlier roles include Vice President of Product Lines Mining Systems and Managing Director at Sandvik Mining and Construction Materials Handling GmbH & Co KG, where Thomas worked from May 2007 to February 2014, and Head of Engineering at ThyssenKrupp Fördertechnik from 1998 to 2007. Thomas also served in various assignments in the German Military from July 1990 to June 1992. Academic credentials include a Diplom in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, obtained from 1992 to 1997.
