TaksoAi was conceived while Simon was completing his Masters at Queen’s University. This idea, coupled with Tony’s expertise, ignited the spark to turn vision into reality.

TaksoAi began after they forged a partnership with a prominent university to conduct a proof of concept. This endeavor validated their approach to themselves and the mechanical contracting industry. In 2022, their breakthrough led to a successful Seed funding round, capturing the attention and securing investments from some of North America's most prominent mechanical contractors and suppliers.

TaksoAi is currently leading the charge in reshaping the mechanical takeoff sector. Focused initially on Piping and HVAC systems, the company is dedicated to broadening its impact by gradually extending its innovative AI-driven solutions to the electrical and industrial sectors.
