Chad Downie is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Currently serving as Chief General Counsel at TAL Australia since June 2013, Chad has held various leadership positions including General Manager Legal and Head of Legal for Corporate and Financial Services. Prior to this role, Chad worked at Westpac Group for over six years, focusing on insurance and advice, product and distribution, with a particular emphasis on financial services and regulatory compliance. Chad began their legal career at MinterEllison and Kennedys, specializing in dispute resolution in the insurance and commercial sectors.
