Rizwan Tariq

Rizwan Tariq has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Rizwan began their career as a Senior Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2008, where they worked until 2013. Rizwan then joined the Westpac Group in 2014, initially as a Senior Associate in Group Assurance before becoming the Manager of Group Assurance. In 2018, Tariq moved to BT, where they served as the Senior Risk and Compliance Manager for BT Advice before becoming the Director of Risk & Regulatory Response. Rizwan returned to the Westpac Group in 2020, taking on the role of Executive Manager in Operational Risk and Controls for the Consumer Bank, and later transitioning to the role of Executive Manager of Business Controls & Monitoring in Private Wealth. Tariq is currently the Head of Risk at TAL Australia, starting in 2023.

From 2002 to 2007, Rizwan Tariq attended the University of Technology Sydney, where they pursued a degree in Engineering. This degree focused specifically on Software Engineering (Honours).
