Robert Brown

Robert Brown is an experienced actuary currently serving as an IFRS 17 Commercial Actuary at TAL Australia since June 2021, where engagement with the Board and senior stakeholders regarding IFRS 17 implications is a primary focus. Previously, Robert held various roles including Senior Actuary at TAL Australia, Senior Manager at EY, where assistance was provided to insurance clients on finance-related projects, and Actuarial Manager at Old Mutual South Africa, leading the Valuation team. With a strong foundation in actuarial science, evidenced by degrees from Stellenbosch University and professional designations from the Actuarial Society of South Africa and the Institute of Actuaries, Robert has developed expertise in financial reporting, project management, and risk assessment across multiple markets.
