Ryan Chen

Ryan Chen is an experienced professional in pricing and retention within the insurance sector, currently exploring the application of AI to enhance effectiveness in the actuarial profession. They served in various actuarial roles at AXA Asia Pacific and AXA China Region, progressing to a Senior Actuarial Analyst. At AMP, Ryan held the position of Market Risk Manager before advancing to senior roles at AIA Australia. Most recently, they worked as the Head of Commercial Value (Pricing) and Retention at TAL Australia. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Actuarial Studies from the University of Melbourne, a Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie Graduate School of Management, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries Australia.
