Omar Marei

Omar Marei has a diverse and extensive work experience in marketing. Omar is currently working as a Marketing Director at talabat since September 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Marketing Director at Careem from July 2021 to August 2022. Omar also has experience working at Vodafone, where they held various roles including Senior Marketing Manager from July 2020 to June 2021, Marketing Manager from October 2016 to June 2020, and Corporate Marketing Sr. Team Leader from May 2014 to October 2016. Before joining Vodafone, Omar worked at Mobinil, where they held positions such as Mobile Broadband, Internet & Smartphones Sr. Supervisor (SME & SOHO segment) from August 2012 to April 2014, Enterprise Blackberry and Smart-phones Sr. Specialist from November 2010 to August 2012, and Enterprise Marketing – Market Specialist from August 2008 to November 2010. Throughout their career, Omar has demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a focus on delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Omar Marei attended El Alsson School from 1991 to 2004 and obtained an International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE). Later, from 2004 to 2008, they pursued their higher education at The American University in Cairo, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and a minor in Psychology.
