James Higgins

James Higgins is a seasoned business leader with extensive experience in the UK and European energy sector, focusing on navigating policy, technology, and economic challenges. They founded and grew Ecuity into a successful consulting firm before its acquisition by Gemserv, where they currently serve as the Director of Future Markets. In this role, James leads the Future Markets Business Unit, aiming to foster efficient and consumer-focused energy markets. They have also held positions with Gemserv and Ofwat, providing strategic advisory services and engaging with governmental entities. James holds a BA Honours in Politics from the University of Liverpool and an MBA in Global Energy from Warwick Business School.
