Iris Wen has 15 years of experience in financial services, small business startups, and scale-ups in Africa, along with managing cross-cultural teams. Currently serving as an Associate Partner at Talanton, Iris focuses on impact investing to help alleviate poverty. Previously, Iris was the Executive Director of Videre Inc., where they incubated over 70 rural businesses in South Sudan, Ghana, and Senegal. Iris began their career as a Private Funds Group Analyst at UBS Investment Bank after earning a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University and an MBA with distinction from the University of Oxford. Currently residing in Boston, Massachusetts, Iris is also a proud parent of two young boys.
