Jon Halverson

Jon Halverson is an experienced investment professional currently serving as a Partner at Talanton, an impact investment fund established in June 2018, focusing on promoting financial returns and social impact in East Africa. Previously, Jon held the position of Regional Investment Advisor and Country Director for the U.S. African Development Foundation from February 2006 to January 2010, where over 50 small and medium-sized enterprise investments were spearheaded, resulting in significant sales and net income generation. Jon's early career includes roles as Vice President of International Development at Land O'Lakes, Inc. and Director of Mergers and Acquisitions at Cargill, where responsibilities included managing strategic acquisitions across multiple business units.
