Ken, together with his wife, Elizabeth, founded TaleMed in 2006 with a vision of delivering cost-effective, efficient staffing solutions for hospitals across the country. With his strategic acumen and forward thinking, Ken has helped make TaleMed one of the fastest-growing, highest-rated travel nurse companies. The company has been Joint Commission Certified since 2007. Ken received the Ernst & Young Midwest Region Finalist award in 2015 and 2016.
Prior to TaleMed, Ken served as President at Trasys and Vice President at Fluor Daniel. At Traysys, he built the IT company and its project management, database management and web interface services from the ground up. In 2000, it was the fastest growing tech firm in the United States. At Fluor Daniel, a global engineering and construction company, he managed the staffing and deliverables for commercial and industrial building projects, including multiple buildings exceeding $100 million.
Passionate about serving the community, Ken was president of Cincinnati Christian University, his alma mater, from 2014 to 2016. He serves as a local government elected official as a member of the Board of Trustees for Miami Township in Clermont County since 2004, and he is a member of the Board of Trustees for Kentucky Christian University.
Along with Elizabeth, he co-founded Impacting Tomorrow, a medical- and faith-based philanthropic foundation that seeks to make a positive impact by contributing financial support and volunteers to local and global mission projects. Ken is also an active volunteer and fundraiser with many Cincinnati-area charities, including those supported by Impacting Tomorrow.
As an avid sports fan, he enjoys attending college basketball games and served as the Men’s Basketball coach at CCU from 2012-14.
