Toria Root

Toria, internal human resources manager at TaleMed, studied communications at the University of Cincinnati. She started as an Employee Services Coordinator at TaleMed and provided human resources for field staff, before becoming HR Manager for internal staff in 2016. In January 2020, TaleMed promoted Toria to Director of Human Resources.

As Director of Human Resources, Toria helps hire and retain employees, participates in all staff performance reviews and guides professional development. She also helps enhance the company’s culture by instilling the six core values of Respect, Innovation, Consistency, Humility, Excellence and Resilience.

A Cincinnati native, Toria enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephews, going on Back2Back mission trips and volunteering with Matthew 25: Ministries and the Stray Animal Adoption Program (SAAP).
