Derek Joseph

Derek Joseph has been in the industry since 1998, starting their career as a Technical Support Analyst at Pearson School Systems. In 2006, they moved on to Salescentrix.com as an Implementation Specialist and Support Engineer. In 2007, they joined Faronics Corporation as an Application Support and MaxHire Solutions as a Senior Project Manager (SaaS). At MaxHire Solutions, they were responsible for gathering detailed migration and workflow requirements for expense and labor estimates, analyzing existing customer workflow, recommending workflow changes based on best practices, and proactively forwarding new ideas to improve product and user experience. In 2013, they were a Project Manager at Cayenta and in 2014, they joined STAT Search Analytics as a Client Implementation Manager. In this role, they were responsible for creating a client implementation schedule, initiating kick off for new client on-boarding journey, conducting discovery sessions, liaising with development team, and arranging and scheduling training sessions. In 2018, they joined TalentClick as a Senior Client Implementation Manager/ Project Manager. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing all the implementation projects for new and existing clients, leading client kick off calls, creating a flexible and realistic project plan, delivering product training, and assessing project scope and determining billable services.

Derek Joseph obtained a Diploma in Computer Desktop from the University of Victoria between 1996 and 1998. Derek then obtained a Microsoft A+ Certification in Computer Science from the British Columbia Institute of Technology between 2002 and 2003. In 2013, Derek Joseph attended Watermark Learning and Training for Business Analysis.
