Panos Michail

Panos Michail has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and application architecture. Panos started their career as a Software Engineer Intern at PTV, where they conducted research on routing in road networks and integrated it with an existing routing product. Panos then worked as a Software Engineer at Computer Technology Institute and University of Patras, where they contributed to the development of high-performance libraries, web tools, and also served as a Teaching Assistant, lecturing on graph algorithms and data structures.

In 2007, Panos began working as a Freelancer, taking on various software engineering projects. Panos later joined JuicyBar as a Software Engineer and Application Architect, where they played a key role in designing and implementing back-end services and APIs for a SaaS application. Panos also extended and debugged an iOS client application.

Panos then worked at Sidebar as a Senior Software Engineer, developing a website quality monitoring service called Sitepulse. Panos had responsibilities ranging from design to systems and software development.

Panos joined Toptal as a Senior Software Engineer before moving to TalentDesk.io, where they currently hold the position of Senior Software Engineer and Application Architect.

Throughout their career, Panos has gained expertise in various programming languages and technologies, such as Python, Django, Celery, Nginx, MongoDB, MySQL, Objective-C, and C++. Panos has also demonstrated strong problem-solving and leadership skills through their involvement in decision-making processes about architecture, data modeling, and design patterns.

Panos Michail completed their education at the University of Patras. From 2002 to 2008, they pursued a Diploma in Computer Engineering and Informatics. Panos then continued their academic journey at the same university, obtaining a Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science and Engineering from 2008 to 2012.
