Max Inglis

Max Inglis has a diverse work experience in the legal and entrepreneurship fields. Max is the founder of add.law, a specialist advisory firm specializing in various legal areas such as FinTech, EdTech, PropTech, Data Protection, and Private Equity. Max is also the founder of Housecure, a company focused on a yet undisclosed field. Max has served as an Entrepreneurship Expert at the oNetwork of Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, providing mentoring and workshops to students and alumni. Max also held the position of Chief Legal Officer at Talentful, a global technology and intellectual property services company. Before that, they co-founded Tekcapital plc and served as the Chief Legal Officer, COO, and Company Secretary, overseeing the company's growth and operations. Additionally, Max worked as an Advisor and Chief Legal Officer at Show My Homework, supporting management and handling contract negotiations. Max has also served as the Legal Director at Monzo Bank and worked as an Associate at Clifford Chance LLP, focusing on corporate finance, carbon credit derivatives, private mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and joint ventures. Max started their career as a Paralegal at Linklaters, where they worked on advising companies such as Microsoft and Time Warner.

Max Inglis has a diverse education history. In 2011-2012, they attended Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford, where they obtained an EMBA (Master's of Business Administration). In 2018, they pursued further education at Saïd Business School, completing the Oxford Blockchain Strategy Programme focused on Blockchain, Finance, and Cryptocurrencies. In the same year, they also obtained qualifications in General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) from IT Governance, Risk & Compliance. Max's educational pursuits also include entrepreneurial negotiations at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2016, CFA certification from the CFA Institute in 2010, and finance-related studies from BPP and the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment in 2010. Earlier in their education, Max completed a law degree at the College of Law, London from 2002-2004, and a Diplôme d'études en langue française from Université Grenoble in 2001-2002. Max began their academic journey with a Geology and Physical Geography BSc (Hons) from the University of Southampton, completed from 1998-2001. In addition to their formal education, Max has obtained various certifications, including those in negotiation and conflict management from prestigious institutions like Harvard University and Harvard Law School, as well as mediation certifications from the Civil Mediation Council and the London School of Mediation Limited.
