Michael Stothard

Michael Stothard is a principal at firstminute capital, an early-stage venture capital fund where they focus on identifying exceptional founders leveraging AI to innovate within various sectors. They lead French investments and serve on the boards of multiple companies, including Typology and Nabla. Previously, Michael was the founding editor of Sifted, where they helped transform it into a prominent media platform covering Europe's technology scene. Michael also spent over a decade as a journalist for the Financial Times, gaining extensive experience as a foreign correspondent. They hold a master's degree in History from the University of Cambridge.
