John Jackson

Solutions Architect at Talion

John Jackson has over 30 years of work experience in the IT field. John began their career in 1989 at Electronic Data Systems as a Lead Infrastructure Architect. In 2009, they joined HP as a Technical Transformation Lead, where they successfully led the Data Centre migration of Aon and the migration of GMAC from to a new Data Centre. In 2013, John joined Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a Chief Infrastructure Architect, leading a team of 8 Architects delivering new solutions and significant changes. In 2016, they moved to Dimension Data as a Senior Service Transition Manager, enabling the transition from sales into delivery of multiple public cloud clients. Most recently, John has been working at BAE Systems Applied Intelligence since 2018 as a Solutions Architect, and they are currently employed at Talion in the same role.

John Jackson obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Telematics from the University of Surrey between 1988 and 1989. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Computer Systems and Electronic Engineering from King's College London between 1985 and 1988. In addition, they received a TOGAF 9 certification from The Open Group in August 2014 and an ISEB Certified IT Architect certification from ISEB Ltd in 2008.
