Talison Lithium

Talison is a leading global producer of lithium minerals situated on a world class lithium asset at Greenbushes in the south west of Western Australia that has been supplying a global customer network for almost 40 years. Talison is a private company owned by two companies under a joint venture arrangement - Tianqi Lithium Corporation/IGO Limited JV (51%) and Albemarle Corporation (49%). In anticipation of sustained growth in lithium consumption, driven primarily by the secondary lithium battery market, Talison has more than doubled its production capacity at the Greenbushes Lithium Operation to supply feedstock for the Kwinana Lithium Hydroxide Refinery near Perth and Albemarle's Kemerton Lithium Hydroxide Plant near Bunbury.
