Talk About Art has 10 years experience of using creativity to respond to the pressing issues affecting children such as poor mental health & limited understanding of career/learning opportunities. Talk About Art promotes inclusive and fair access to the arts for children, targeting schools with high levels of Pupil Premium, enabling us to best support those whose exposure to the arts is restricted or discouraged due to reasons of poor health, limited finances, and social and cultural deprivation. Working with over 5000 children across the London Boroughs of Greenwich and Lewisham we have run projects in early years settings and primary schools, enabling children to work directly with recent arts graduates, exploring the impact of creativity on a child's wellbeing and confidence. Our Board of Trustees includes qualified teachers who work at Primary, FE and HE level and their knowledge is used in the development all of Talk About Art's projects.
