Ricardo Grade

Ricardo Grade has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and teaching. Ricardo is currently employed at Talka.ai as a Software Engineer, where they focus on full-stack development of end-user apps. Ricardo leads the development of the frontend for their flagship MVP app and two AI-driven apps. Prior to this, Ricardo worked as a Student Intern at INESC-ID, where they worked on their master's dissertation project involving designing an app for location-certified smart tourism. Ricardo also served as an Invited Teaching Assistant at Instituto Superior Técnico, teaching lab classes on Distributed Systems. Before that, they were a Research Initiation Scholar at the same institute, working on the development and maintenance of application features. Ricardo also has previous experience as an Academic Mentor at NAPE-IST, assisting new students with registration and integration, and as a Secondary Mathematics Tutor.

Ricardo Grade's education history begins in 2009 when they enrolled in Secondary School IBN Mucana, where they pursued a degree in Socioeconomic Science. Ricardo completed their secondary education in 2017.

Following secondary school, Ricardo attended Instituto Superior Técnico from 2017 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science & Engineering.

Ricardo continued their education at the same institute and obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, which they completed in 2022.

In terms of additional certifications, Ricardo Grade obtained an IELTS Academic score of 6.5 in August 2020. This certification was granted by IELTS Official.
