From 2015 to 2018, Danny worked at Tekworks | Tek Services Group Inc. as a Technical Support Analyst, where they were part of a 3-person MSP supporting over 100 client offices, including medical and dental offices, small to medium businesses, and university labs and offices.
Before that, they worked at IBI Group as a Jr System Administrator from May 2009 to March 2015, Mark Anthony Group as Tech Support from April 2008 to August 2008, and Harbour City Bingo as a Bingo Caller/Shift Supervisor from July 2005 to July 2007. At Harbour City Bingo, Danny was an oft-requested bingo caller for the busiest sessions and was responsible for troubleshooting issues on the computer systems related to calling. Danny also held cashier and part-time office manager roles, handling large sums of money and tight timeframes.
Danny's earliest technical support experience was at MSN, where they worked as a Technical Support Representative/Lead from July 2003 to August 2005.
Danny Strood earned a CIT Diploma in Information Technology from the British Columbia Institute of Technology from 2007 to 2009.
