Joe Powers

Joe Powers is a seasoned software engineer with a diverse background in engineering and development. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Talkiatry since June 2022, Joe previously held positions at BandwagonFanClub, Inc. as a Software Engineer and Junior Software Engineer from December 2019 to June 2022. Prior to this, Joe worked at GE Power in various engineering roles, including Design Engineer and participant in the Edison Engineering Development Program, and completed an internship at GE Power in 2014. Joe's foundational experience includes leadership at the Georgia Tech Housing Department and a lifeguard position at the YMCA. Joe holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, both from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and received training at Carolina Code School in 2019.
