Sara Hathaway

Sara cares deeply about connecting people with the information, resources, and networks they need to thrive. As a former children’s librarian in multilingual, resource-constrained communities, Sara worked closely with families trying to navigate the challenges of equitable access to information and education. Witnessing the immense impact moments of connection can have on an entire community, she moved into product management in 2018 to dive deeper into the possibilities at the intersection of communities, equity, and technology.

At TalkingPoints, Sara’s background in public service and building technical products will help her as she works closely with the users defining and developing meaningful, user-centered solutions. Sara holds a bachelor’s degree in French from Miami University and a Master’s of Library and Information Studies from the University of British Columbia.
