Peter Lerner

Peter Lerner is the Director General of the International Relations Division at the Histadrut, where they have served for over four years, focusing on global outreach and solidarity among workers. They are also a board member for several organizations including Davar, Together for You, and Am-Oved, promoting social justice and consumer rights. Previously, Peter spent 25 years in the Israel Defense Forces, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel and serving as a spokesperson for international media. They hold a Master of Arts in Conflict Management and Resolution from Bar-Ilan University and are also a lecturer at Reichman University, where they teach strategic communication. Additionally, Peter is a member of the ILO Governing Body and actively contributes to discussions on the future of work.
