David J. Ellis, LCMHCS, LCAS, is a highly experienced Clinical Therapist and Counselor Educator with over 40 years in the field. Currently serving as a Trauma Therapist at Telecare Anywhere and holding multiple counseling roles at Online Therapy, Kindbridge Behavioral Health, and Talkspace, David also operates Ellis Counseling Services as a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor. Previously, David held leadership positions such as Director of Guidance at Platt High School and Mental Health Therapist at Griffin Hospital, alongside extensive experience as a high school counselor and supervisor of counseling services at The Salvation Army. David's educational background includes advanced degrees in counseling and educational leadership from Pepperdine University, Antioch University New England, and the University of Bridgeport.
