Jamil Vazquez

Jamil Vazquez Perez is a dedicated professional in the mental health counseling field with extensive experience spanning various organizations. Currently serving as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor at Talkspace and BetterHelp since April 2023, Jamil also holds the position of Superintendent for the Force Development Branch with the United States Department of the Air Force. Prior to these roles, Jamil was a Senior Enlisted Leader for Mission Support in the Air Force from August 2021 to February 2024 and worked as a Mental Health Counselor at Suffolk Young People's Health Project from August 2018 to August 2021. Additional experience includes positions at JHD Counseling Services LTD and MTCIC, along with a significant tenure with the Air Force as Unit Training Manager. Jamil’s educational background includes a Mental Health Counseling degree from Lubbock Christian University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Psychology from Troy University.
