Simon Watts

Simon Watts is a seasoned football commentator and journalist with extensive experience in live match commentary and sports reporting for Sky Sports since March 2007. In addition to serving as a football commentator for EFL Championship matches, Simon has worked as a sports reporter on Sky Sports News, providing live updates and conducting interviews. Simon's diverse roles include producing sports bulletins for Sky News, creating documentaries, and contributing to various highlights shows across several platforms, including ITV and DAZN. Simon has also engaged in podcast production for notable series while serving as an EFL correspondent on Talksport and a university lecturer in Digital Media and Journalism. Simon holds a 2:1 degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Leeds.
