Neil Thier

Neil Thier has over 20 years of experience in software engineering. Neil began their career in 1999 as a Software Developer at Nuvation Labs. In 2000, they moved to Brightspark Labs as a Software Developer. In 2002, they became a Sr. Developer at Trilogy. In 2007, they took on the role of Sr. Software Developer at Research in Motion. From 2008 to 2021, they were Lead Developer at Broadway Technology. Currently, they are a Principal Software Engineer at Talos, where they are responsible for designing and building advanced financial trading software, including trading algorithms, market data, and risk management.

Neil Thier attended the University of Waterloo from 1997 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelors of Mathematics in Computer Science.
