The Tamil Community Centre (TCC) aims to create a cultural landmark for the Tamil Canadian community and serve as a state-of-the-art community hub for the residents of the City of Toronto, promoting the inclusiveness of the Canadian heritage by engaging with all levels of governments and community organizations to nurture a mutual appreciation between Tamil Canadians and Canadians of other heritages.

The proliferation of the Tamil community has increasingly been recognized by the broader Canadian society. The Tamil Community Centre of Canada (TCC) looks to satisfy the need for a cultural hub that will host a wide range of programs and facilitate culturally-sensitive services designed to celebrate and preserve the Tamil identity and its rich culture.
