Monish Kumar

Monish Kumar has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Monish has worked as a Security Engineer at Zoho since 2023. Prior to that, they founded and served as the Lead Organizer of TamilCTF, starting from May 2020. Monish also worked as an Associate at PwC India from February 2023 to December 2023.

In terms of consulting experience, Monish worked as a Security Consultant at CyRAACS™ from June 2022 to January 2023. Monish was responsible for performing penetration testing, leading Red Team engagements for Fin-Tech companies, and delivering high-quality service to clients.

Monish also contributed to the cybersecurity community as the Chapter Lead at OWASP Erode from February 2021 to January 2023. In this role, they delivered informative presentations in Tamil language to raise awareness about information security and promote proactive cybersecurity practices.

Before that, Monish worked as a Specialist Programmer at Infosys from August 2021 to June 2022.

Monish Kumar obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in ECE from Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology and Research Academy from 2017 to 2021. Additionally, they obtained certifications in ISO 27001 Lead Implementer - Information Security, Zephyr, Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI), Certified Red Team Expert (CRTE), Certified Red Team Professional (CRTP), CCNA, and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from various institutions.
