Nimit Kaur has had a diverse work experience. In 2015, they worked as a Receptionist at Nimit Palace Indian Restaurant. In 2019, they were an Intern at the Office of U.S. Senator Cory Booker, where they assisted staff with daily senate duties such as communicating with the public and processing incoming mail. In 2020, they worked as an Assistant at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and as a Digital Accessibility Support, Validation and Writing Consultant and a Digital A11Y Intern at Tamman, Inc. In 2021, they were a Volunteer for the National Homework Hotline for Blind and Visually Impaired Students at VISTAS Education Partners, a MSW Intern at Alliance Mental Health and Youth Consultation Services, and a Volunteer at Abilities Solutions. Nimit is currently working as an Office Assistant at Rutgers University - Camden and will soon be a Research Assistant there as well.

Nimit Kaur has a comprehensive education history. Nimit completed their high school education at Sterling High School from 2012 to 2016. Nimit then pursued an Associates degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Camden County College from 2016 to 2018. In 2018, they graduated with a Bachelors degree in Sociology from Rutgers University - Camden. In January 2022, they obtained a certification as a Social/Behavioral/Epidemiologic Research Investigator from the CITI Program.
