Tom Tang

Dr. Tang is the Co-Founder & COO at TandemAI. He brings 26+ years of research and leadership experience to the company.

Formerly Dr. Tang worked at Shanghai ChemPartner from 2012 to 2021. During the last 5 years at ChemPartner, he initially served as the President and then the CEO managing over 2,000 scientific staff and delivered double-digit annual revenue growth in the research service business. Prior to ChemPartner, Dr. Tang spent 16 years at Merck with increasing scientific and managerial responsibilities. His last position at Merck was as Distinguished Senior Investigator. He also served as co-chairs of multiple early development programs. Dr. Tang received his Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry from the University of British Columbia.
