Corey Burney

Corey Burney has over 8 years of experience in network security and administration. Corey currently works as a Network Security Engineer at Tanger Outlets since September 2021. Prior to that, they worked at EITS, Enterprise IT Security as a Network Security Engineer from August 2020 to September 2021. Corey also has experience at Tanger Outlets, where they held the positions of Senior Network Administrator from August 2018 to August 2020, and Network Administrator from January 2013 to August 2018.

Corey Burney completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems from Western Carolina University, graduating in 2012. Corey also obtained various certifications throughout their career, including the Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) from Palo Alto Networks in October 2022, the Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate from Microsoft in May 2021, the Forescout Certified Administrator (FSCA) from Forescout Technologies Inc. in December 2020, the Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure Certification from Microsoft in July 2018, and the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council in March 2019.
