Anthony Bolan

Anthony Bolan is a Principal Security Architect & IT Guru at Tangible Security. Anthony has over 12 years of experience in the field of information security. Anthony started their career as a Web Support Technician at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and then moved on to become an Information Security Analyst. In this role, they were responsible for reducing phishing email passthrough by over 95% through email gateway policy improvements. Anthony also designed and implemented data loss prevention policies to better identify sensitive information and reduce false positives.

In their current position, Anthony advises corporate Compliance and Legal departments on FINRA, NYDFS, and SOX regulation technical requirements. Anthony also leads the vulnerability management program and works closely with system administrators to patch systems and implement configuration changes. Additionally, they engage in internal penetration testing of critical business web applications and provides remediation recommendation reports.

Anthony Bolan's educational career includes a Bachelor's Degree in General Studies with a focus in Computer Science, Information Assurance, and Mathematics from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Anthony is also certified by Offensive Security as an Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) and by CompTIA as an A+ Certified Professional. In addition, they are certified by (ISC)² as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
