Christopher Buntel

Christopher Buntel's work experience begins in 2000 as a Patent Agent at Frohwitter. Christopher then worked as an Attorney at Baker Botts from 2000 to 2001 and at Howrey LLP from 2001 to 2004. From 2004 to 2008, they served as an IP Attorney at Invitrogen / Molecular Probes. Christopher then worked as VP of Legal at Millenniata from 2008 to 2010. Christopher then joined Intellectual Ventures as Director of Patent Development from 2010 to 2016. From 2016 to 2019, they held various roles at Xinova, LLC, including Head of Singapore Office, VP of Innovation, and Consultant. In 2019, they became the Director of Innovation at Inflection Point Technologies. In 2020, they became an Advisor to the Board at Nutrition Technologies. As of March 2021, they are a Co-Founder and CIPO at Tangibly Inc.

Christopher Buntel completed their education between 1986 and 2001. Christopher obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where they studied from 1986 to 1990. Following this, they pursued a Ph.D. in Chemistry at Stanford University from 1990 to 1996. Finally, Buntel attended the University of Houston Law Center, where they obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree between 1997 and 2001.
