Melissa Kwan, PhD, served as a PhD Research Scientist at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto from 2010 to 2017, where they independently managed research projects, developed experimental protocols, and secured over $1,000,000 in grant funding. They produced and presented extensive research findings, culminating in five manuscripts and over 20 presentations internationally, while also mentoring undergraduate students. Currently, Melissa holds the position of Senior Manager at Tango, starting in 2024, after previously serving as General Manager for Tjene Hong Kong. They earned their Doctor of Philosophy in Physiology from the University of Toronto in 2017, following an Honours Bachelor of Science in the same field in 2010.
