Steve Watson

Steve Watson has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Steve began their career in law enforcement, working as a Police Officer at the Madison Alabama Police Department from 1983 to 1985. Steve then joined the Madison County Sheriff's Department, where they served as Captain of Patrol and Special Operations from 1985 to 2014. In 1996, Steve transitioned into a role at the Family Service Center, where they worked as a DVIP AND TIPS Facilitator for 20 years until 2016. In 2007, they briefly worked as a Realtor at Keller Williams Real Estate from 2007 to 2012. In 2013, Steve became a Police Officer at John C Calhoun State Community College, working until 2015. Currently, they hold the position of VP of Success and Experience at Tango Tango, Inc, a company that utilizes smartphones to enhance two-way radio networks.

Steve Watson has a brief education history in the field of Criminal Justice/Safety Studies. In 1984, they attended Jacksonville State University for this field of study. However, they did not obtain a degree. In 2009, Steve briefly attended the University of Virginia to pursue the same field of study, but did not earn a degree there either.

In addition to their education, Steve Watson obtained a certification as an APOST Certified Law Enforcement Officer from the Alabama Police Officers Standards and Training institution in August 2016.
