Dean Forster

Dean Forster is an experienced technology leader specializing in cybersecurity and managed service partnerships across the APAC region. Currently serving as the Director of Managed Service Partners at Tanium since March 2021, Dean focuses on expanding partnerships in Australia and Southeast Asia to tackle IT challenges. Prior experience at Macquarie Telecom Group includes roles as a Cyber Security Architect and SOC Manager, where Dean was dedicated to safeguarding federal and state governmental operations. Dean held several positions at Macquarie Telecom from 1999 to 2018, including Senior Product Manager for Cyber Security, Technical Director, and Engineering Manager, contributing to significant advancements in telecommunications and cyber defense. Early in the career, Dean worked as Head Engineer at Optus and holds an Associate's degree in Telecommunications Technology from the School of Technology, North Sydney.
