James Sillence

James Sillence is a seasoned technologist with a diverse career spanning several decades. They completed a Technician Apprenticeship in Electronics at Parker Pen in the UK and earned a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from the University of Brighton. After spending eight years in academia as a PhD candidate researching internet messaging systems, James transitioned into technical presales roles, eventually leading teams in Big Data, Analytics, and Cyber Security. Currently, they serve as the Vice President of Technical Account Management at Tanium, where they focus on endpoint management and security.
