Sparky Wood

Sparky Wood is a highly experienced cloud security engineer with a proven track record in application and security engineering across multiple organizations. Currently serving as a Staff Cloud Security Engineer at Tanium, Sparky has developed AWS account creation tooling that significantly reduced provisioning times. Previously, at dutchie, significant contributions included leading the implementation of Zero Trust Network Access and pioneering the security branch of the Cloud Center of Excellence. As a Security Consultant at AWS, Sparky played a key role in a major data lake migration and designed scalable security frameworks. Other notable positions include Senior Application Security Engineer at Signal Sciences and Senior Application Security Consultant at Rapid7, where foundational frameworks for application security services were established. Sparky holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Park University and completed a Data Science Boot Camp at General Assembly.
